These Terms govern your access to and use of Talivo, including account registration, resume uploads, AI-assisted screening, and beta features.
By accessing or using Talivo ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are using Talivo on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
The Talivo service is provided by the following legal operator:
Elyas Fahmi Ahmed Abdullah operates Talivo as a software subscription service for recruiters. References to "we", "us", or "our" in these policies mean Elyas Fahmi Ahmed Abdullah, trading as Talivo.
Talivo is a software platform that helps recruiters upload job descriptions and resumes, run automated analysis, and review ranked candidate shortlists with explanations. The Service is currently offered in beta. Features, limits, and availability may change as we improve the product.
You agree not to:
You retain ownership of job descriptions, resumes, and other content you upload (Your Content). To operate Talivo, you grant us a limited license to host, process, analyze, store, and display Your Content solely to provide and improve the Service.
You are solely responsible for Your Content and for ensuring you have all necessary rights, notices, and legal bases to upload and process candidate information through Talivo.
Talivo may generate rankings, summaries, skill assessments, and interview suggestions using automated and AI-based methods. These outputs are provided for informational assistance only. They may be incomplete or inaccurate. You must independently review all candidate information and make your own hiring decisions. Talivo does not automatically reject, hire, or contact candidates on your behalf.
Talivo is in active development. The Service may contain bugs, interruptions, or incomplete features. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. During beta, plans may be offered free of charge; future paid plans will be described on our pricing page.
Certain features may require payment. If you purchase a paid plan, fees, billing cycles, and usage limits will be described at checkout or on our pricing page. Payments for paid subscriptions are processed by PayPro Global, which acts as Merchant of Record. Charges may appear on your statement under PayPro Global or Talivo. Refunds, cancellations, and billing disputes are governed by our Refund and Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
Talivo and its branding, software, design, and documentation are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or underlying technology except the limited right to use the Service as permitted here.
You may stop using Talivo at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, create risk for other users, or where required by law. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends. Provisions that by nature should survive (including disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnification) will continue to apply.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT AI OUTPUTS WILL BE ACCURATE OR SUITABLE FOR ANY PARTICULAR HIRING DECISION.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TALIVO AND ITS FOUNDERS, EMPLOYEES, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US $100).
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Talivo from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from Your Content, your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party rights — including claims related to candidate data you upload.
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where Elyas Fahmi Ahmed Abdullah is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service should first be raised with us at hello@talivo.app or via our contact page at https://talivo.app/contact so we can attempt to resolve it informally.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Talivo after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will update the "Last updated" date when changes are posted.
